Shelby Criswell [they/them] is an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Painter, and Comic Maker from San Antonio, TX.

 

They have worked on the Ringo and Ignatz award winning anthology, BE GAY DO COMICS (The Nib), TERMINAL PUNKS (Mad Cave Studios), QUEER AS ALL GET OUT (Street Noise Books), and LEAF PEEPERS (Kickstarter-Funded).

 

Their latest middle-grade graphic novel, HEEBIE JEEBIES (Papercutz) comes out September 17, 2024. Shelby enjoys plein air painting, bike touring, playing the banjo, and dreaming about quilts they will never make.
