I’m Victoria Grace Elliott or vge (she/he/they), a queer Southern comic author and illustrator originally from Alabama, now residing in Austin, Texas. I love making offbeat romance comics about weird Texas teens falling in love. I write, draw, color, and letter everything myself because I'm a maniac. And so far, all of my works have had the honor of being selected for the Texas Maverick Reading List.

 

My debut in middle grade nonfiction comics YUMMY: A HISTORY OF DESSERTS and TASTY: A HISTORY OF YUMMY EXPERIMENTS (Random House Graphic) explore my love of food, history, and culture through charming sprite narrators with each title earning a Ringo! Award nomination. My YA romcom comics PLEASE BE MY STAR and SWEET REVENGE (Scholastic Graphix) tell stylish love stories about queer teens full of hope, angst, and creative ambition. PLEASE BE MY STAR has had the honor of many starred reviews and being selected as a KIRKUS REVIEWS Best Book of the Year for 2025.
